matte photo paper continues to jam when trying to print excel file.  I am loading the paper in the regular front load tray

@pfw8, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

What is the size of the paper being used?

Matte Photo paper is not supported as per the printer specifications. Check Supported Photo paper under paper-handling specifications here

 

Update the printer firmware

Click here to download and install the latest firmware from your MAC.

Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.

 

Refer to this document to know how to load the paper in the Input Tray.
