HP Officejet Pro 6830 e-All-in-One Printer

I have a 4x8 photo card that will not print on my HP Officejet 6830. I have created a custom size option on my MAC but when i load the paper into the printer and click PRINT, nothing happens. It looks like it is printing, but nothing actually happens. I have to delete the print job.

I cannot address the printer software or settings (No MacOS in our home office).

That said,

The printer is perhaps not aware of the paper that is loaded as compared to the settings.

First thing to try is to open the tray where the paper is loaded,

Wait a few seconds,

Close the tray.

Look for a message on the printer control panel to edit / accept / change the paper size and type settings.

If you don't find your paper size in the list of paper sizes,

Check (at the end of the list) for size "Custom" -- Select size "Custom" if it is listed.

and / or

If your printer is on your network,

Use the Embedded Web Server (EWS) to adjust the Paper Size & Type - Tray and Paper

EWS > HP Document / How-to

Use the HP printer Embedded Web Server (EWS)

Example - EWS – Browser – Tray and Paper Management

Open your favorite browser > type / enter Printer IP address into URL / Address bar

Tab Settings > Preferences > Tray and Paper Management
