Cant print google docs

I can't print google docs from my chromebook. Tried using HP smart app. They say 'file type not supported'. Can print other items, so printer is working and connected. Saved as pdf but won't print.

Do you get any errors while printing Google docs?

Make sure you are selecting the correct printer to print.

If you are able to print other files, it means the printer and the connectivity between the devices are fine.
