After i just set up new ink cartridges my printer doesn’t work anymore, it’s says it can’t print and that maybe the ink cartridges are not official and doesn’t fit for this printer but the ones that i set up are the ones that HP send me. So I don’t understand why it don’t work

Hi @2Sahira
Welcome to the HP support community.
I understand you're experiencing an issue with your HP device, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I'm here to help you today.
Please try these steps:
1. Check Cartridge Installation
- Turn off the printer and open the cartridge access door.
- Remove the cartridges and then reinsert them, ensuring they click into place securely.
2. Inspect the Cartridges
- Make sure the cartridges are the correct model for your printer.
- Check for any protective tape or plastic that may still be on the cartridge nozzles or contacts. Remove any that is present.
3. Clean the Cartridge Contacts
- Gently clean the copper contacts on the cartridges with a lint-free cloth. Avoid touching the ink nozzles.
- Also, clean the contacts inside the printer where the cartridges sit.
4. Check for Firmware Updates
- Ensure that your printer’s firmware is up to date. You can check for updates via the HP Smart app or HP's support website.
- follow this link : https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/ish_1776648-1643972-16
5. Reset the Printer
- Power off the printer and unplug it from the wall.
- Wait for about 60 seconds, plug it back in, and turn it on. This can help reset any temporary errors.
6. Run the Printer Troubleshooter
- If you’re connected to a computer, you can run the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool, which can help diagnose and fix issues related to printing.
7. Try a Different Set of Cartridges
- If possible, try using a different set of genuine HP cartridges to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if the problem is with the cartridges themselves.
I hope this helps! Keep me posted.
