Cardstock gets stuck in my officejet printer 8210.  Regular copy paper and photo paper go thru fine.  I put in cardstock as paper choice.

"Card stock" is not all equal.

Card stock manufactured from "Index" paper stock is supported to the weights shown.

Card stock manufactured from "Bond" or "Cover" paper, for example, may well exceed that weight limitation.

Card Stock, even within the weight limitation, may not be available for all paper sizes.

Supported cards

To avoid paper jams and other issues, make sure you are using the correct type and size of index cards or card stock when loading the input tray.
Paper type
Paper size
Standard index card
76.2 x 127 mm (3 x 5 inches)
Oxford index card
127 x 203.2 mm (5 x 8 inches)
A6 card
105 x 148.5 mm (4.13 x 5.83 inches)
A4 index card
210 x 297 mm (8.3 x 11.7 inches)
Hagaki
100 x 148 mm (3.9 x 5.8 inches)
O**bleep**u Hagaki**
148 x 200 mm (5.8 x 7.9 inches)
**The product is compatible with plain and inkjet Hagaki from Japan Post only. It is not compatible with photo Hagaki from Japan Post.

Is paper type / weight  / size the issue?  Not sure, but it is certainly a first place to check.
