I just got engaged and I'm going to be printing my own invites. I'm just wanting to know if this printer is cardstock compatible or will I need to buy a different printer?

The answer is:
Yes >>
The extent to which this is true depends on the paper type, size, weight
AND
The Operating System / version
and
The Software available for your device (computer?) to complete the task
and
The format you are using - for example, "card making" software might be more or less trouble to use than standard office software (Word).
Paper type, size, borderless / duplex
The printer supports "cards" -- this paper type is typically defined as "Index card paper" to 200 gsm / 110lb.
Standard and Custom paper sizes are supported. Whether this extends to the paper type "card" is determined by the software available to fully support the printer features.
Borderless and Duplex are supported. Most printers limit which sizes (and perhaps types) of paper are supported for both of these features. Again, much of what can be done depends on the printer model, the Operating System / version, AND the available printer software.
Hopefully, that helps.
If you need more help, do provide a more details.
The bottom line:
This printer might be able to do what you want.
The fancier your cards, the more likely it is that it would worth having them printed professionally.
