Welcome to HP Support Forums. 🙂 I came across your post and would like to help.
I understand that you have an HP Deskjet 1050 All-in-One Printer. I read that that the printer always worked fine with the HP 60 or HP 61 ink cartridges. However, this time you received HP 122 ink cartridges. Now the printer displays an incompatible cartridge error.
To provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
- Have you enrolled for the HP instant ink plan? If not then where you buy the HP 122 cartridges from?
I did some research and found the cartridge compatibility cart for your HP printer which is below:
The HP 122 cartridges are for printers that are sold in the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, Japan, and CIS region only.
If you are in North America and Asia Pacific, (excluding India, China, Japan, and Indonesia) region then you can contact the place of purchase and seek for a replacement of the cartridges or you could contact our HP phone support.
I sincerely hope this information helps. Please let me know how it goes. Cheers! 🙂
