Hi @BeyW
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
The E3 error on your HP ENVY 6075 typically indicates a carriage stall, even if there’s no visible paper jam. Here are some steps to troubleshoot:
1. Check for Obstructions in the Carriage Path
- Turn off the printer and unplug it.
- Open the cartridge access door and gently move the carriage side to side.
- Look for any small bits of paper or debris blocking movement.
- If the carriage has a latch, ensure it’s properly locked in place.
2. Perform a Hard Reset
- Unplug the printer from the power source.
- Wait 60 seconds, then press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.
- Plug it back in and turn it on.
3. Reset the Printer
- If your printer has a rechargeable battery, remove it before resetting.
- Disconnect the power cord, wait 60 seconds, then reconnect it directly to a wall outlet.
- Turn on the printer and check if the error persists.
