HP ENVY 6075 All-In-One Printer

Cartridge Carriage stalls.  Error E3.  There is no paper jam.   The ink has already been replace but I am still getting E3 error code.  Please help.

The E3 error on your HP ENVY 6075 typically indicates a carriage stall, even if there’s no visible paper jam. Here are some steps to troubleshoot:

 

1. Check for Obstructions in the Carriage Path

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it.
  • Open the cartridge access door and gently move the carriage side to side.
  • Look for any small bits of paper or debris blocking movement.
  • If the carriage has a latch, ensure it’s properly locked in place.

2. Perform a Hard Reset

  • Unplug the printer from the power source.
  • Wait 60 seconds, then press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.
  • Plug it back in and turn it on.

3. Reset the Printer

  • If your printer has a rechargeable battery, remove it before resetting.
  • Disconnect the power cord, wait 60 seconds, then reconnect it directly to a wall outlet.
  • Turn on the printer and check if the error persists.
