Hi can anyone please confirm if both the HP336/342 and HP338/343 are suitable for my C3180 photosmart printer. I bought a 342 cartridge which will not work. The seller says I should have bought 343 but I know both cartridges worked on my printer previously. (I've had the printer for 10 years no problems).
Infact a quick look in my local supermarket lists either of the above cartridges as suitable for my printer!!
Thanks

Hello,
HP Cartridge 342 is not compatible with your printer HP Photosmart c3180.
Below are the list of compatible cartridges for your printer in "EUROPE" region.
HP 338 Black
HP 336 Black
HP 343 Tri-color
HP 348 Photo
However you may always refer to below document which would help you know the compatible cartridges for any HP Printer you would own.
