I bought my printer in Dubai a few years back and I've already returned to the Philippines. I can't get the the 650 ink cartridge here so I checked HP's website for compatible ink cartridges for my printer and bought the 678 ink cartridge. Then, I find out about the printer being region locked so my printer keeps saying the ink is incompatible. I know I have to contact HP support but I've already called different numbers and they keep giving me these numbers (for the Philippines); the website lists these numbers as well:
1-800-1441-0094
+63 (2) 867-3551
The problem is, when I dial these numbers, it always says "The number you have dialed is not yet in service". So, I'm at a loss here. What am I supposed to do with my printer and two new packs of 678 ink cartridge now? Is there any other way I can change my region? I called service centers here in the Philippines and they all tell me I can only do that by calling those numbers. I hope someone can enlighten me with this or give me another solution.
