I want to change "Grayscale" from "Off" to "Black ink only" and "Output quality" from "Normal" to "Draft". I have gone to the Control Panel to permanently change my default printer settings, but as soon as I try to print, the settings have reverted back to "Off" and "Normal".

Hey @arican55,
I see that you are having some issues with setting the defaults on your Windows 10 PC when printing to your Officejet 6700 Premium e-All-in-One Printer. I can help you with that.
To clear any default settings:
- If the printer is connected through a USB cable to your PC, remove it.
- In your search bar type in Printers and open Devices and Printers.
- Right-click on any icon of your printer listed.
- Click on Remove Device.
- Repeat for any other icons of your printer listed.
- If you removed the USB cable, connect it. If not, click on Add Printer and follow the prompts to add a print queue for your printer.
Please let me know the results after following the above. If you can set the defaults, please click on Accept Solution. If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. Both icons are below this post.

I have the exact same need. And this "remove and reinstall" did resolve part of the problem. The part that it did save is the draft setting which it would not before. But it did not save the black ink only setting. How is that possible?
