I have the RNVY Photo 7855 an I am copying a photo to make multiple copies. The problem I am having is that the photos I am copying are 4x6 and the photo paper I have is 4x6. When I go to print, the photo paper tray setting defaults to 5x7. IT will allow me to change the main tray setting but not the photo tray setting. How do I change the photo tray setting to 4x6? Everything that I have been able to locate shows me how to change it if I'm printing from my laptop, but can't find anything if I am printing it from the the scanner glass.

"Printing from the scanner glass" is not printing - it is scanning or copying.
In general, fewer options are available using the basic scan or copy features.

Edits - Update the information / content
After checking...
I do not find that the printer provides printing software for XP 64bit.
That being the case, only the basic print functions are likely available and these do NOT include the options included below.
I am leaving in the content for others to reference.
I do not have information on how to print / copy / scan without installed printer software in an unsupported Operating System version.
For those reading this thread:
Software for this printer is supported all the way through Windows 10.
XP is supported for 32bit
The following is reference for readers having a supported Operating System and installed Full Feature Software for the printer.

Option - Change Copy Defaults
If the printer is on the network, you might be able to use the Embedded Web Server (EWS) to change the Copy defaults.
Notes
- Changed "defaults" will affect other copy jobs. (You may want to re-edit the defaults after this job).
- This approach is perhaps not the best option and may not even be relevant to your situation.
Example:
Open your favorite browser > type / enter Printer IP address into URL / Address bar
tab Settings > Copy Settings > Default Settings
Edit / Change settings > Click Apply to save changes
EWS_Settings_Copy_1
Option: Scan photo into computer and Print
Scan the photo into your computer and save it as a .jpg filetype (somename.jpg)
Open the file in your photo editing / printing sofware on the computer.
For example:
- Paint (mspaint)
- Windows Photo Viewer for Windows
Set the options, including Media (kind of paper), Source (tray ),and paper size
Option: Scan photo into computer and Print using HP Photo Creations Software
IF the following software works in XP, the software can help configure your print job to be printed on your home printer.
Download, Save, and install:
After the software is installed:
Click Start (windows key) > all apps > scroll the list
Open Category HP
Find the HP Photo Creations application
Right-Click on the application and PIN to Start
OR for XP
Click Start > type / search for Photo Creations > Click to open the program
Example – One Borderless Image on 4X6 inch photo paper
NOTE: Borderless may -- or may not -- be available on your printer model
Open the Photo Creations software
Multi-Up > 4 X 6 inch Quick Prints > Print my own > Add Photos > Browse
Click / Select Photo from folder > Open
In Section Edit > Click once or twice on the opened photo
White box opens listing Edit Options:
Select / Edit if / as desired
Section Print
Adjust Settings
- Verify / Select the Name of your printer
- Select the number of Copies (Located next to the "Print" box)
- Verify / Select Image Size
- Verify / Select Print Range (for multiple pages)
- Verify / Select Paper Orientation
Open Printer Settings (Located under the name of your printer)
Verify / Adjust setups (Reminder: Selections in Printer Settings and Settings must match)
