HP officejet pro 8035 all in one printer upon starting it up goes into "Checking the Printer...please wait..." and stays there. 

I cannot access the touchscreen

I have tried unplugging, changing to direct wall, and waiting over 3 mins to re-plug in with a power button discharge.

I understand that you want to reset the printer, I am glad to assist you.

You might have to perform a semi-full reset on the printer.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
