hp officeject pro 8720
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I need to uninstall of my 8720 and then reinstall it. Win10 Apps and features does not indicate an 8720 to uninstall. What does appear is HP Smart, HP Universal Fax Driver, HP Update and HPDiagnosticCoreDLL. There is no ability to select HP8720 to uninstall.

If I try to install the software I receive an error that leads me to run Troubleshoot HP Installation Failure - MSI diagnostic. This does not resolve the issue either so I'm stuck.

What I want to do is do a clean uninstall of this printer and then start over again.

Win10 - latest version

HP8720 Wi-Fi Direct connect

Can anyone assist with the required steps to perform a clean uninstall?

Thanks!

Thanks for the response.

However it will not work for me in this situation. Step 3 indicates to click my HP printer name in to uninstall. The problem I have is my printer name does not appear in the list of installed programs so I cannot select it. My original post details the installed programs that do appear which are related to my printer. This is why I need to perform a clean uninstall.

2. Search Windows for features, and then click Programs and Features or Apps & Features in the list of results.
3. In the list of installed programs, click your HP printer name, and then click Uninstall or Yes.

Try a third party uninstaller like REVO.
