I have searched far and wide trying to figure out a solution to no avail. My printer decided to go into an E3 error state in the middle of the night, I tried everything suggested here and on Youtube. Now it has changed to an E6 error. I've only had it for one year and signed up for the Instant Ink as well, and of course the warranty just ended last month so both are just wasted.

Hi @Wowgrll247,
Welcome to the HP Support Community
I'd like to help!
I understand you are receiving E3 and E6 error message on the printer.
An E3 or E4 error indicates a carriage or paper jam.
Refer to the documents for instructions on how to resolve the error -Carriage Jam or E3 error displays or Paper Jam or E4 error displays
An E5 or E6 error occurs when the scanner or printer is in an error state. Reset the printer.
With the printer on, disconnect the power cord from the printer.
Unplug the power cord from the power source.
Wait 60 seconds.
Reconnect the power cord to the printer, and then plug the power cord directly into a wall outlet.
Also, try updating the printer's firmware -HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
