Hi everyone

When I turn on my HP OfficeJet Pro 8022e printer, I get the following message on the panel => PrintHead Error
Event code: 62.80.03
I have tried various solutions but despite this the message is still present. Do you have a solution other than this?
- Firmware update
- Cleaning the print heads
- Turn off/Unplug/Press the power button for 10 seconds to empty the capacitors/Reconnect without power strip.
- New ink cartritges installed

Thank you in advance for your help

Hi @JohnRain,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The event code 62.80.03 on your HP OfficeJet Pro 8022e indicates a printhead error, which can be tricky to resolve. Since you've already tried several standard troubleshooting steps, here are a few additional options you can consider.

Check for Obstructions: Ensure there are no paper jams or foreign objects in the printer that could be affecting the printhead.

Reinstall the Printhead:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it.
  • Remove the printhead and check for any visible damage or debris.
  • Reinstall the printhead firmly, ensuring it clicks into place.

Reset the Printer:

  • Perform a factory reset of the printer settings if possible. This can sometimes clear persistent errors.

Inspect Connections:

  • Check the printhead and ink cartridge connections for any dust or debris. Clean them gently with a lint-free cloth.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
