Got same issue with Envy 6234. Connection error messages, even though was connecting fine, and instant ink status updated. Did a factory reset and now get same message "Cartridge cannot be used until printer enrolled in HP Instant Ink". Have tried resetting network and web services and getting nowhere

@adeharding, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

I understand you are not able to print due to this error.

You will have to add the printer to your Instant Ink account as the data on the printer was erased when you performed a factory reset.

A reset will disable the web services. We need to enable the web services, go to account, and add the printer using the new claim code. Refer to - Enrolling in HP Instant Ink

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Hello. I have tried that when I add the printer claim code I get an error message saying "Something went wrong. Please try again later." I have tried numerous times

Have tried that waiting for escalation response. Although now think it is something to do with this. Right hand "printer" is the one showing as connected to instant ink. Left hand one wants me to sign up even though it says already enrolled.Screenshot 2021-08-30 064820.png
