Our laserjet has developed a rather irritating squeal when performing any function involving producing paper output
It squeals on black and white prints
it squeals on color prints
it squeals when making copies
I have done a power reset and during part of the start up and initialize phase it made the made the same squeal
I have pulled the toner cartridges and reseated them, and still squeals like a banshee.
Is it a situation that something needs cleaned or lubricated a bit? If so, any instructions with pictures on how to do that for this model?

Does it squeal when it starts up? If yes, one thing to tray is this. Remove all toners and close the door. When prompted for supplies install the cartridges one at a time to see if a single cartridge is causing the issue. If the printer does not cause noise when first initializing, tracking down the issue is a little more complicated. Most of the noises we hear from this engine design are either cartridge related or fuser/transfer belt related.

Thank you very much for the information!
I have two making squealing noises. When I ran through your testing, I removed all the cartridges, and then reinserted starting with the black cartridge and moving to the yellow. The yellow on both seems to be what causes the noise on both printers. Is it common for the same color cartridge to cause a squeal noise on two separate machines? Just want to make sure before I try replacing the cartridge on both.
