Hi everyone,

I have received my replacement board from Aliexpress. I ordered it on the 1st of November and got it delivered today. Not too bad 🙂

I saw the date on the little sticker says 06/11/22 and on my old one it says 06/09/18 so it's from this year. I was hoping the firmware would be the one from April this year but after turning the printer on it says on the display:

Ready 2 Download

needs boid rfu 6d

I don't know what this means. Is anyone familiar with this message?

@JoopR: Can you flash over USB (via the computer)? If not, try putting the zenith.rfu firmware image on a USB flash drive (must be FAT formatted.)

HP Recommended

@Katherine73: Nope, printer is not recognized via USB cable. Where can I get hold of that zenith.rfu image?

Do you have a Mac (or access to one)? Its easy to extract from their firmware updater. Not so much for PC.

Unfortunately I don't have a Mac. Only Windows PC's.

I have put that file on a FAT formatted 4Gb USB drive, stuck it in the printer and switched it on but still the same message. Maybe I need to do something else? Just hoping the EUR 80 is not wasted on a board that's not working 😞
