HP Photo Envy 7100

I like to print photos on my HP Photo Envy 7100.  It worked fine at first but now the colors are not true.  The darker colors will have a blue cast, the greens will have a yellow hue.  I am on an Instant Ink subscription and don't have any other color cartridges to use currently.  I'm sure I aligned the cartridges at one time but it didn't improve.  I've changed paper settings, again no improvement.

Have you tried checking with regular ink cartridges? Does the issue persist?

 

Try printing a print quality test page from the printer and check if the issue persists.

 

Try replacing low, empty or defective ink cartridges on the printer.

 

Clean the ink cartridge contacts

 

Make sure the ink cartridges are correctly installed

Hi,

I uninstalled my printer and reinstalled it with the most updated print driver.   I aligned the cartridges and clean them (twice).  I printed a photo that I had printed before and the colors weren't correct.   And it's still not satisfactory.  My husband is wearing a black shirt but it appears dark blue.  His graying hair looks like little-old-lady blue hair.   It's just not right.  😞

I don't have other ink cartridges to try since I have an Instant Ink subscription.
