Dear HP Customer Service,
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received for my HP LaserJet Pro MFP M126a Printer (Model: CNBRR37R). Despite being under the one-year warranty, I have been informed that I must pay ₹5,000 to fix a hardware issue, which I find unacceptable.
The printer recently stopped functioning after printing approximately 150 pages. I contacted HP customer support, and an official technician diagnosed the problem as a faulty chip in the printer's internal reader. This malfunction appears to be a manufacturing defect, as the printer has been used under normal operating conditions.
As the printer is still within the warranty period, I believe the repair should be covered without any additional charges. Being asked to pay ₹5,000 contradicts my understanding of HP's warranty policies and raises concerns about the quality of service provided.
I kindly request that this issue be addressed urgently and the printer be repaired at no extra cost. HP's reputation for excellent customer service is one of the reasons I chose this product, and I hope you will take immediate steps to resolve this matter.
Please contact me if further details are needed. I look forward to your prompt response.
Sincerely,
Lalit Kumar
