I buy like 2 day ago my printer, I don’t have the Admin Password, now everything is locked on EWS, I tried Network Defaults from the printer but it did not reset Password, I need to do a Complete Restore Factory Default, from the Printer itself physically from the buttons. I also try this and don’t work,

Please try the steps recommended below to perform a factory reset on your printer.

Follow these steps to reset the printer to the factory default settings:
1. Verify that the printer is powered on.
2. Press and hold down the power button.
3. While holding down the power button press theCancelbutton six times.
4. Release the power button.

And this and also dont work

Please try the steps recommended below.

Press the Wireless button ( ) and the Cancel button ( ) from the printer control panel at the same time, and then hold them for three seconds.

This would restore the printer network settings to defaults and you can change the settings in the EWS page.

I need the instructions to make the full reset of my product.

Hello, @Isegnini – Greetings!

Allow me to welcome to HP Support Forums! It is a great platform to get help from the community, get suggestions and find what has worked for others!

Going through your post, I see that you are not able to access the EWS as the options are locked. I understand that you have performed all the necessary steps to try and fix the issue. Ideally, when you restore the wireless settings to default, that should have fixed the issue.

I’d suggest you contact the HP phone support for further assistance.

HP Technical Support can be reached by clicking on the following link: www.hp.com/contacthp/

(1) Once the support page opens please select the country in which you're located. Next, enter your HP model number on the right.

(2) Next, choose the 'Contact Support' tab at the top and scroll down to the bottom of the 'HP Support- Contact' page to fill out the form provided with your contact information.

(3) Once completed click the 'Show Options' icon on the bottom right.

(4) Lastly, scroll down to the bottom of the page and select 'Get phone number.' A case number and phone number will now populate for you.

Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance!

Cheers 🙂
