HP Officejet Pro 8620 e-All-in-One Printer

When printing a pdf document from Acrobat, the document appears normal when viewed on my computer (2017 iMac running Mac OS 13.2.1 Ventura) but when printing, characters are compressed or overlapping.  I have already tried aligning the printer head and have downloaded the most current software.

This mostly affects numbers in the printed pdf version of an Excel for Mac spreadsheet that was converted to pdf via the "print" function.  The spreadsheet prints fine directly from the .xlsx version of the original document.  See excerpt from a scan of the printed pdf document below:Screenshot.png

Hi @dpdapper1,

I appreciate the steps you have performed and have certainly done a good job.

Try the following:

  1. Uninstall and then reinstall the software. Uninstall and reinstall the Adobe software to get the latest version of Adobe Reader. ...
  2. Change the default program. Make sure Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is the default program for viewing PDF files. ...
  3. Test printing with a different PDF file. Print a different PDF file to determine if the issue occurs with a specific PDF file or all PDF files.
  4. Print the PDF as an image. You can print a PDF file as an image. ...
  5. Other things to try. If the previous steps did not resolve the issue, try the following methods to print the PDF file.

If the above steps do not fix the issue, This might require one on one interaction to fix it.
