HP Recommended

So frustrated.  I have a HP 4100e series and a Dell lap top.  They have never liked each other much but for the past 5 months all has been reasonable.  I had a problem with Sky connection on the Dell so I rebooted.  Now Hp/Dell won't talk to aeach other. Range of messages - error, printer offline 

 

I have tried using a cable between them No joy. Tried trouble shooter - no joy.

 

I am not particularly good on computers and get lost on help websites.

 

Prior to this printer (owned about 10 months) I have just plugged in, switched on computer and printer and Bingo

 

ANy simple
