Customer non-support

Is this forum really the only customer support option when the printer goes bad? I got the dreaded "Supply System Problem" message and went through every "support" prompt. Nothing worked, and now I can't even speak to someone about what to do? Maybe those troubleshooting pages should say "buy a new printer" at the end. I'm not the only one with this error, and clearly, HP does not want to provide a solution.

I am genuinely astounded that we have reached this level of customer service.

2. For Officejet printers sometimes the printhead is clogged with ink and you need to clean that part to recover printer functionality.
