Hi @DEN78,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your screenshots are printing with large fonts and are being cut off at the top and bottom, there are a few areas you might need to check and adjust. This issue is often related to the settings or scaling options on your phone, in the app you're using, or in your printer settings. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help resolve the issue:
**1. Check Screenshot Dimensions
- Screen Size: Ensure that the dimensions of the screenshot are appropriate for the printer paper size. For example, a screenshot taken on a phone might be larger than the printable area on standard paper.
**2. Adjust Screenshot Settings
- Screenshot Settings: Some phones allow you to adjust the size or resolution of screenshots. Check if there are any settings related to screenshot size or resolution that might be affecting the output.
**3. Edit the Screenshot
Crop and Resize:
- Use an image editing app or software to crop the screenshot so that it fits within the printable area. Most phones have built-in editing tools in their gallery app.
- Resize the image if necessary to match the paper size you are using.
Editing Tools:
- On iPhone: Use the built-in Photos app to crop and resize. Open the screenshot, tap Edit, and then use the cropping tools.
- On Android: Use the Google Photos app or a third-party editing app to crop and resize the screenshot.
**4. Adjust Print Settings
Printer Settings:
- Access the print settings on your phone or computer before printing. Look for options such as Fit to Page, Scale, or Paper Size.
- Ensure that the scaling option is set to fit the image to the page rather than printing it at its actual size, which might cause parts of the image to be cut off.
Print Preview:
- Always use the print preview option to check how the screenshot will look on the printed page. This allows you to make adjustments before printing.
**5. Check App Settings
- Printing App:
- If you’re using a specific app to print from your phone, check the app’s settings for any options related to scaling or page size. Some apps might have specific settings that affect how screenshots are printed.
**6. Update Printer Drivers and Software
- Printer Drivers:
- Ensure that your printer drivers are up to date. Outdated drivers can sometimes cause issues with scaling and formatting.
- Visit the printer HP website to download and install the latest drivers for your printer.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
