My printer is connected to the internet, as I can wirelessly print. I have a subscription to HP Instant Ink and haven't had issues until 6 months ago. When I click the HP Instant Ink Status, it tells me to "connect printer so replacement cartridge can be ordered. After hitting connect, it tells me that my printer cannot connect to the server, contact the person who set up the printer, and touch print report to diagnose problem. After printing the report, it brings me back to the same page. The report says its not configured with a Domain Name System server address.
I don't know what this means and how I need to fix it

DNS = Domain Name Service, this is an networking function that translates a name like HP.COM to an IP address that can be located. Through the control panel or the embedded web server (reached by typing the IP address of the printer into the address bar of your browser) and then going to network setup and making sure the Primary and Secondary DNS address are correct. In most cases the primary will the the IP address of your router and the secondary can be set to 8.8.8.8 (google's DNS server).
