Hi
I have read about the depleted cartridge issue and I understand that if one of the cartridges is fully depleted then it must be replaced before being able to print
What I don't understand - and I don't accept - is that the printer is now insisting that I replace all cartridges, even though the others still have ink to be used
Have HP designed a printer that requires full replacement of all cartridges everytime just one is depleted? If so, this printer is probably the worst designed ever
Please provide a suitable response that does not cost me a full set of new cartridges everytime one is reduced
Thanks

No,
The printer requires replacing empty cartridges only.
Be aware that if other cartridges might be low, it might become empty once installing the new cartridges, during the printer preparation following a cartridge replacement.
Whenever you get such an error, click Hide and tap the top black bar on the printer screen, then click the Ink Drop icon and evaluate all 4 ink cartridges, be sure to have any empty or low ink cartridge available in hand.

I have the same problem. What are the odds that all cartridges went empty at the same time? Very, very unlikely. It really looks like at the included cartridges are not only extra small capacity, but also may be designed to return an empty state message when they aren't really completely empty. I wish I trusted HP more.
