Right, so my printer has been working fine for weeks. but has now decided its done.

At first it was saying it is offline and requires that I download the HP Smart app but everytime I try that I get an error blocking me and doing it another way, through the browser, I was told I need a microsoft account with an appropriate device connected (whilst signed in on my microsoft account and unsure what device they want other than the HP printer).

Despite this, the network light on the printer was solid blue, indicating it was connected to the wifi but since a couple of restarts, now will not connect at all.

I have also tried connecting directly via USB only to be told about needing the app again. :{

I'm in work all day weekdays and due to commuting times I'm not able to be home to call the unhelpfully-timed support line so any community help would be very welcome.

Cheers.
