HP DeskJet 3752
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP DeskJet 3752 worked when I first set it up but it has not been used for a year.  The printer makes noises like it is printing, the paper feeds through, but it comes out blank.   There are no paper jams and I installed new ink cartridges.  The cartridge arm seems to be working okay and there are no error messages,  just no prints on the paper.

Do you experience the same issue when making Photocopies?

 

Let's try cleaning the Printhead and check if that helps

 

  1. Load plain paper into the input tray.

  2. Search Windows for your printer model name, and then click the printer name in the list of results.

    HP Printer Assistant opens.

  3. Click Maintain Your Printer.

    The printer toolbox opens.

  4. On the Device Services tab, click Clean Cartridges .

    A Print Quality Diagnostic page prints.

  5. Examine the Print Quality Diagnostic page.

    • If the print quality is acceptable, click Done. You can stop troubleshooting.

    • If the print quality is unacceptable, click Second-level Clean to continue the next level of cleaning.

         NOTE: If the printhead is badly clogged, it might require another cleaning cycle. If so, wait 30 minutes before you perform both levels of cleaning again.

already tried cleaning, aligning, etc and nothing but a couple of lines on the back of the page

If you have already performed the steps from the document HP DeskJet 3700 Printers - Color or Black Ink Not Printing and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.
