WIndows 10 64 bit OS. The HP software will NOT detect paper in the paper tray or in the scan tray. When printing I see OUT OF PAPER errors (tray is full of paper) when scanning I see ADF does not contain any pages, while I have a document in the scan tray. Please help.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue.
- Did you make any changes to your printer?
- Did this happen after a recent window or software update?
If you have already performed the steps from the document Out of Paper Error and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.
And, also Download and run HP Print and Scan Doctor: Follow steps from the link: Click here

Thank you very much for your response Echo_Lake! No changes to the printer or to the computer and no these issues did not start after a Windows or other computer update. However I was JUST able to scan a document successfully. Once only and not since. Yes I did follow all steps from that document and yes I did run and install the Print and Scan Doctor
