Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My Deskjet 2132 printer will print in colour when I copy documents, but will not print in colour when I use my PC. I am using Windows 10 Home OS. Any ideas?

Let me take a moment to thank you for posting on the HP Support Forums. 

 

I understand that you have an HP DeskJet 2132 All-in-One Printer and it does not print in color. However, the printer is able to copy in color. I appreciate the steps you have performed to isolate the issue and have certainly done a good job.

 

I would like to know if any changes took place on the computer or the printer after which this issue may have started. Meanwhile, I recommend you to perform the following steps to isolate the issue and arrive at a fix: 

  • Please view this video to know how to change the print settings in Windows 10. Ensure that the print settings are set to print in color: http://hp.care/2eCnRqI.
  • If the print settings are set to print in color and printer still does not print color then you may download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor. This software will fix any printing related issue. 

I sincerely hope this fixes the issue. Keep me posted. Cheers! 🙂

A combination of the Scan Doctor, plus uninstalling and reinstalling the printer seems to have fixed the problem. Many thanks.
