Please can you help? My HP Deskjet 2600 has completely stopped printing. The 3 dots (colour ink) is flashing even though I have changed the cartridge twice, I have also wiped over the connector points for cartridge to see if blocked and have shaken the cartridgesbefore putting in machine . I can not even get the photocopying to print in colour or black. I have turned off and unplugged printer for 10-15 mins and still wont reset. When select print on word its telling me that the pages are printing but nothing is happening. I'm desperate to get it sorted as need to home school

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:
Use HP Printer Assistant to clean the ink cartridges in Windows.
-
Make sure to load plain paper into the input tray.
-
Search Windows for your printer model name, and then click the printer name in the list of results.
HP Printer Assistant opens.
-
Click Maintain Your Printer.
The printer toolbox opens.
-
On the Device Services tab, click Clean Cartridges
.
A Print Quality Diagnostic page prints.
Figure : Print Quality Diagnostic page
-
Examine the Print Quality Diagnostic page
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
