I recently replaced the tri-colour cartridge in my deskjet 2622 but can only now print in black and white. The printer recognises the cartridge as a genuine HP and supply level is almost full (also for the black). I have tried unplugging, restarting and checked the settings but to no avail. Any ideas please?

Hi, thank you for your reply.
I have now tried each step but it has not resolved the problem. I guess I have no other option than to buy a new cartridge which is somewhat annoying as the old one is registering almost full ink levels and being recognised by the printer.
Do HP have any return/exchange provision for faulty cartridges? Unfortunately I no longer have the receipt.

I suggest you contact HP Support in your region for replacement cartridges
1) Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/
2) Select your product type below.
3) Enter the serial of your device.
4) Select the country from the drop-down.
5) Select the chat or get phone number options based on your preferences.
6) Fill the web-form and proceed further.
