Deskjet 2632
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've got a new printer - Deskjet 2632. The printer is installed correctly and works fine when it is first switched on. The problem is that afrer a while (sometimes after a few minutes, sometimes a few hours), the printer stops working, loses its network connection, and all the lights and the display panel start flashing.

I have attached a photo to show the error display and flashing lights.

The only way to get it working again is to turn the power off. This keeps happening every time the printer is switched back on again.

I would be grateful for any help or suggestions what might be the problem.

Check if there is any paper jam in the printer.

Make sure the carriage is moving freely.

If the carriage not moving, try to move the carriage manually and check if it moves.

Many thanks for your response. There is no paper jammed in the printer and the carriage moves freely. I have tried each of the steps set out in the links you provided, but unfortunately I still have the same problem.

The printer works fine for a while after it is switched on, but after a while it stope working and all the lights and display flash (as in the photo I attached to my original message). The display is showing "EE" which does not appear to be a recognised error code.

Do you think the printer is faulty and needs to be returned?

Thank you.

Thanks for your reply. I had already tried this and I already had the latest firmware version. Unfortunately it doesn't solve my problem.

Any more suggestions please?
