Deskjet 2635
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My Deskjet 2635 is not printing at all. It is making the noises like it is going to print but pushes out blank sheets every time. I have updated the firmware, download all the diagnostic software, cleaned/aligned the printheads.
I don't know what else to do. Please tell me how to get this printer printing again. The scanner scans but blank sheets come out.

Hi @akcampbell01

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I understand the printer is printing blank pages. I'd be happy to assist you.

  • Are there any lights blinking on the printer?
  • Check the ink levels in both the ink cartridges.
  • If you are trying to print after a long time, the ink could have dried up.

Reset the printer

  1. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  2. Wait at least 60 seconds.
  3. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
  4. Turn ON the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
  5. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.

Note: HP recommends connecting the printer directly to a wall outlet rather than a surge protector or a power strip.

Print a test page from the printer

Press and hold the Cancel button  for 3 seconds.

A Printer Status Report prints.

Try making a standalone copy in black and color to check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.

If the issue persists, make sure you have tried step 5 from this document.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
