Printing in Windows, including the print size, is controlled within the application you are using to submit the job to the printer.
- Print size when printing from your web browser might be controlled in Print Preview / Page Setup / Scale. For example, Set the print size / Scale to some percentage of 100%
For example:
Firefox > File > [Print] > Print Preview >
Scale: Select Percentage OR Shrink to Fit
Page Setup > tab Format & Options (wording varies)
Set Scale and orientation
and Edge Browser...
Open Edge browser > open your URL / webpage > Settings (three dots, upper right) > Print > More Settings > Adjust Scale
- "Pre-adjust" the view in the browser to increase the size.
Adjust a full webpage view before printing the webpage / document:
PC:
Ctrl + (Control key and Plus key at the same time > page contents larger)
Ctrl - (Control key and Dash key together > page contents smaller)
Ctrl 0 (Control key and 0 (zero) > reset page to Default)
Mac OS
** Cmd + larger
Cmd - smaller
** Command key
Reference: HP Notebook PCs - Adjusting the zoom and font size in Internet Explorer
- Make sure the "Scale" is not set to zero - this results in a tiny printout
- Print size is controlled in your PDF reader both on the main print menu page and possibly in "Properties".
- Word also provides a form of Print Preview where you select the paper size, margins, and source (tray).
