@david446, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.
I understand you are not able to print from your computer.
Run HP Print and Scan Doctor to diagnose and fix any driver issue
Click here to download the file. Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and click on 'Fix printing'.
If the issue persists, proceed to the next step.
Go to Devices and printers, delete all the entries of the printer.
Use the HP Smart app to print. Download it from the Microsoft Store.
Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.
Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.

Install the printer using the TCP/IP port:
Check for any pending Windows updates first.
- On the PC, go to Control panel > Devices and printers > Remove the existing printer entry if any > click on Add a printer(at the top)
- Under 'Choose a device or printer', click on 'The printer I want isn't listed'.
- Select 'Add a printer using a TCP/IP address'
- Find the IP address of the printer by tapping on the wireless/ethernet icon on the printer screen
- Type in the 'IP address in Hostname or IP address' box, click next
- Proceed to the next steps by following the on-screen instructions.
- Try printing.
Let me know how it goes.

Hi Kumar0307
ther is no issue adding printer, it will add my printer as a copy but then when i try to print it just wont print as i believe the printer i cannot find has a print queue and this seems to take priority

Yes, I understand. That is why I mentioned installing using TCP and not using the printer driver. If you have done so and it has not helped, I think this issue needs some additional technical assistance that can be better provided through one-on-one interaction or a remote session with our HP Support team.
Please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region for further assistance.
You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know how.
Keep me posted for any other assistance.
