I have purchased a Deskjet 3630 Printer to be used solely with my iPad and iPhone.
I have FINALLY got that steady blue light indicating wireless connection to the same home network as my iPad etc. The orange light doesn’t want to go off and I have reams of paper printed off but I can’t seem to find a fault. I can email things to the printer and they will print. I am unable to use the home Wi-fi to send things to the printer not am I able to send things using the printers own Deskjet network connection. Direct ePrint is set up.
Despair of the highest degree!!!
Cananyone shed any light? Please!

Hi @Babciax2,
Thank you for your reply, I'll be more than glad to help you.
I understand that you are unable to print over the SKY wireless network.
This issue could occur if the wi-fi direct is enabled.
You can use any one at a time. If you want to print over the SKY wireless network, then you need to disable wi-fi direct.
You have a good day ahead.

Thanks for reaching out to us on HP Support Forums. I came across your post and would like to assist.
I understand that you have an HP DeskJet 3630 All-in-One Printer. I read that the printer is connected to the wifi network. I read that there is an orange light appearing on the printer. I also read that the printer prints fine. But unable to use the home wifi? could you please elaborate on this please?
You have mentioned that "I am unable to use the home Wi-fi to send things to the printer not am I able to send things using the printers own Deskjet network connection. Direct ePrint is set up."
I request you to reply in detail because you have mentioned earlier that the printer prints fine on over the network. This will help me clear my confusion and assist you further.
Meanwhile, you may try printing using the Apple Airprint to print from an iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch over a wireless network to your HP printer: http://hp.care/2o9Zgw4
Hope this helps. Keep me posted. Good luck! 🙂

Thank you for your reply. I apologise for the confusion.
I was unable to send a document to the printer using my SKY wireless network.
i was unable to send a document to the printer using the HP DIRECT wireless network.
I was able to email a document to the printer which printed successfully.
Eventually, I switched off the router, printer and iPad. Switched the router back on, then the iPad and then the printer.
I was then successful in printing via the HP DIRECT wireless network.
Thank you.
