Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Deskjet 3722 wireless printer cannot connect to upgraded 5g Wi-fi.

Why do I have to connect to 2.4g? What is the point of having 5g? Is there an updated printer driver available?

@Mouse2020, Welcome to HP Support Community!

 

The printer is only compatible with the 2.4GHz network as it is manufactured with the WiFi card that supports the 2.4GHz network.

 

No drivers can help you fix this. There is possibility of having dual-band on your router through which you can have two separate network names for 2.4 and 5GHz networks. Contact your ISP for help.
