I have been attempting to print documents but the printer will not print anything with black ink. I've cleaned it manually and using the utilities deep cleaning. I've replaced the cartridge and reports say the black ink levels are full. I notice that other people have had this problem as well but no solution was posted. Is there a solution to this issue? Has there been a recall?

Hi @Sebright04,
I'd like to help!
To better assist you -
1) Are you able to make black copies using the printer?
2) What's the application you are trying to print from? Have you tried printing from a different application or device?
While you respond to that, let's print a Print Quality Diagnostic page -
-
Load plain paper into the input tray.
-
Click the Apple
menu, and then click System Preferences.
-
Depending on your version of OS X, click Print & Scan or Printers & Scanners.
-
In the Print & Scan or Printers & Scanners window, select your printer, and then click Options & Supplies.
-
Click Utility, and then click Open Printer Utility.
HP Utility opens.
-
Click Print Quality Diagnostics
, and then click Print.
A Print Quality Diagnostic page prints.
Post the Print Quality Diagnostic page here so we can help you further.
