Hi @mwp0548,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd like to help!

If your HP Deskjet 3755 printer is displaying a "Door open" message even though the door is closed, you can try the following steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

Double-check the door: Make sure that you have firmly closed all the doors and covers on your printer. Sometimes, a door may not be completely closed, or a small piece of debris could be preventing it from closing properly.

Power cycle the printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, and wait for a few minutes. Then, plug it back in and turn it on. This can sometimes reset any sensors or error messages that are causing the issue.

Check for obstructions: Examine the area around the door for any foreign objects or debris that might be blocking it from closing correctly. Remove any obstacles if found.

Clean the printer: Dust and debris can sometimes interfere with the printer's sensors. Carefully clean the inside of the printer, paying attention to the area around the door and any sensors.

Update firmware: Click here Sometimes, updating the firmware can resolve known issues and bugs.

If none of the above steps resolves the issue, it's possible that there may be a hardware problem or a malfunctioning sensor. In this case, it's best to contact HP customer support or take the printer to an authorized service center for further diagnosis and repair.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
