Today the printer quit printing. I get the right ink cartridge light blinking every 2 seconds (i.e slow blinking) and the resume light on. Documentation says this is a case of the ink service module being full. I took it out and cleaned it AND I also reset the printer. No good. The lights are the same and it keeps spitting out a blank page. Somehow it doesn't recognize that the ISM is not full any more.

Any suggestions?

After taking out the ink service module TWICE and cleaning it and putting it back on, and taking out cartritges and putting them back on, and power resetting the printer, all to no avail, I finally got the printer to work by doing a reset of the counter: turn the power button on, press and hold the "cancel" (X) and "resume" (paper with arrow) buttons simultaneously for 12-15 seconds (NOT 8 seconds as many people say in this forum and others). Both amber lights should switch off and you'll be left with just the green power button light.

You can print a test page by pressing and holding the power button and pressing the resume button 4 times.
