My wife's computer uses the HP 970CSE printer. It is running 64 bit Windows 7. The printer used to work. Now it will not even print a test page. I tried accessing the URL below: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01874792
but I get an error message.
If that information still available? If so, how do I access it?

Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Try using the built-in drivers: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c01796879
Let me know if this helps.
If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
Thanks!

Thanks Betty. I carefully followed the link and saw the video clip about how to get the printer to recognize the Windows driver. To be sure I was following the video instructions, I typed out each line as the video gave the instructions. What I typed appears below.

You can install an HP printer by using the drivers built into the Windows operating system. The Windows print driver only provides basic functionality for HP printers.
Before intalling your printer, make sure it is not connected to your computer with a USB cable. IF previously connected, disconnect the USB cable.
On your computer, click the Windows button (flag – Start). Type change device installation settings, and then select Change device installation settings from the list of results. From Device Installation Settings, Select Yes, do this automatically or Yes, recommended, and then click Save Changes.
Connect your printer to the same wireless or wired network as your computer. You can set up a wireless connection using the Wireless Setup Wizard on your printer control panel.
If connecting your printer to your computer with a USB cable, connect the square end of the cable to the printer and the flat end to the computer.
Windows detects the printer through the new connection and installs the driver. If a Found New Hardware Wizard appears, follow any instructions to complete the printer installation.
Try to print a document. If your document prints, the printer installation is complete. If you cannot print, click the Windows button. Type Devices and Printers and select Devices and Printer from the list of results. Click Add a printer. Select your printer from the list of detected devices. Click Next and then follow the instructions to install the driver.
Click Finish to complete the installation.

When I got down to the next to last paragraph, I tried to print a document. It did NOT print. I then followed the instructions to go through the Control Panel to install the driver. I was able to select my HP printer from the list and clicked on Windows Update which took a minute to think and put me back to the same list to select my HP 970CSE printer. After doing this several times, instead of clicking on Windows Update, I clicked on Next and followed that to its conclusion. However, the printer still would not print.
The suggestion looked good and seemed to work according to the instructions, but in the end, no printing. What did I do wrong/
