When I try to print with my HP Deskjet 9800D, the paper starts to feed but then stops. The light with the paper + arrow icon starts blinking red. This happens with every print job.
There is no visible paper jam when I open the main cover or the duplexer (the automatic duplex printing unit).
If I wait a bit, I get a notification saying there is no paper (I didn't have time to read the full message).
If I press the blinking button, a blank page comes out and then the actual print starts — but an extra blank page is ejected at the end.
Even though the print settings are set to color, the document is printed in black and white.
I already removed and reinstalled the printer, but nothing changed.
The drivers I’m using are the ones provided by Windows, since there are no official drivers available for this older printer on Windows 11.
Thanks
