If my D1460 is left idle overnight, when I come to print first thing the cartridge shoots across to the right hand side when a print is sent from my PC and the power light starts blinking. The PC says the printer is having communication problems. If I press the power button the printer initialises and then prints the document I sent.
If I print a lot of documents the printer is fine, just when the printer is left idle for about 4 hours or overnight this problem occurs. I have printed a self test and everything seems fine. Why is the printer behaving like this on first print?
