HP Deskjet 1050 All-in-One Printer - J410a
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi all.

I want to disable the Cartridge Policy and Cartridge Protection on the HP Deskjet 1050 All-in-One J410a. I have the software updated, but it has very limited options and the ones on the computer settings are not that much further varied. The version of the printer software is the 028.001.1333.000  .

I tried to install the HP Web Jetadmin but without success as I cannot pre install all of the supplements and have them running before the main installer, I do not know which programs to use for that process (as they are a different, unusual, type of file) and; the HP Smart from the Windows Store has difficulty in adding and recognising my printer, different times shows a message to try later.

On the HP Deskjet 1050 All-in-One J410a software, when tapping on ink definitions, there is no option related to the Cartridge whatsoever, even on the advanced options. On setup, not as well. Nor in the computer's, printers and devices settings.

What I aim with this is to install a toner without it then showing the error message of protected Cartridge that impedes me from further using these toners, as I do not have others to reinstall, to set it to default again and proceed from there.

Really want to start using my toners, so all help is appreciated!

Thank you!
