Hi, 

 

I own a HP PageWide Pro MFP 477dw. For some reason the display of the printer does not turn off anymore. It just stays always on. It works fine otherwise. The inactivity timer is set to 240 seconds. When I leave the printer on, so will the display, it never turns off.

What I tried so far:

  • Restart the printer
  • Restart it by cutting the power for 60 seconds
  • Different power management settings, for display inactivity timer and standby mode
  • Reset to factory settings

The printer is connected directly in wall outlet (read this in another answer). Firmware is MAVEDWPP1N001.2228B.00. Any trick on how to fix this?
