Product: Deskjet 3755

I have my deskjet 3755 connected to my home WiFi and want to make sure the only people able to print to it are on my home WiFi. Can I disable WiFi direct? Or will this stop sharing the printer locally? Also, if I disable the printer’s SSID broadcast, will we still be able to find and print to it?

Hi,

HP WiFi Direct and a wireless connection through a router are not related to each other, as long as the printer is connected to your wireless network you may disable HP WiFi Direct and this has no effect on any printing through the local wireless network.

 

Simply click the WiFi Direct icon to disable the feature, its light should be off when disabled, see figure 11 below:
