Welcome to HP Support Forums. 🙂
Congratulations on your new HP DeskJet 2130 All-in-One Printer. I read that there is a "door open" message. Not worry, I'll do my best to help you.
I read that the power button light blinks fast indicating that the printer door is open.
Have you removes all the packaging from the printer and the ink cartridges?
Is the print carriage moving freely?
Click here to access the user guide for the printer. The page# 6 shows that if the power button light blinks fast, it indicates the door is open.
I recommend you to perform the following steps to isolate the issue and arrive at a fix:
- Disconnect the power cable from the printer while the printer is still ON.
- Disconnect any other cables if connected the printer.
- Press and hold the printer’s power button for 15 seconds.
- The printer should be directly connected to the wall outlet and not to a surge protector.
- Reconnect the power cable to print and the printer should power ON by itself. If the printer doesn’t power ON then please manually power it ON.
If the issue still persists then let us reset the printer to its factory default settings. I have sent you a private message with the reset steps.
Hope this helps. Feel free to keep me posted.
Good luck! 🙂
